In the morning of October 27th, the body of Namgyal Rinpoche has been cremated at the crematorium of the Rosenberg cemetary in Winterthur, Switzerland. Some twenty students of the Rinpoche accompanied the process until the coffin with Rinpoche's body was given to the flames. A day earlier Sonam Gyatso led a ceremony at the place where Rinpoche spent his last days. For those of you who could not be there a few pictures are uploaded here.

I am very sad to announce that Venerable Namgyal Rinpoche passed over
peacefully this evening at 6:30 PM GMT while visiting in Switzerland.
I would ask that all of us dedicate our thoughts and prayers for the
speedy and fortunate rebirth of our beloved teacher for the sake of
all beings.
